PHASE 1- GOLDRUSH MILLIONS QUALIFIERS
Every Friday from 14:00 until 16:00 loyalty members will participate in the Goldrush Tournament- 3 Golden Tickets up for grabs awarded
to customers with the highest turnover/ points accumulated in that time
Again, every Friday from 20:00 until 22:00 loyalty members will participate in the Tournament- 3 Golden Tickets up for grabs awarded to customers with the
highest turnover accumulated in that time- the 3 customers with the highest turnover during the 2-hour period in the branch will win the Golden tickets.
Tournaments will take place in 2 hours intervals.
During this time members will use their own money to play on any EBT machine as per normal operations
All customers with the highest turnover during the Goldrush Tournament will receive golden tickets to enter the GOLDRUSH PLAYOFFS (phase 2) on the last Saturday of the month
After four weeks of the Goldrush tournaments, there should be a minimum of 24 golden ticket winners who will participate in the second phase (GOLDRSH MEGAMILLIONS PLAYOFFS)
A customer is limited to 2 Golden Ticket entries
PHASE 2- GOLDRSH MILLIONS PLAYOFFS
On the last Saturday of the month Goldrush will host the GOLDRUSH PLAYOFFS which will take place from 20:00 until 21:00
There will be a Last Chance Tournament between 17:00 and 19:00 for the last two Golden Tickets
All golden ticket winners will receive R500-R1000 freeplay each in order to play in the GOLDRUSH PLAYOFFS
Golden ticket winners across the group may elect to play in an alternative branch (subject to the approval of the group)
The R500-R1000 freeplay is tournament money to participate in the Playoff tournament
All winnings from the R500-R1000 freeplay on the tournament cards can be redeemed once the tournament is complete- after 21:00
The customer must go to the cash desk to transfer the winnings to their original membership loyalty card.
The participants will play in the tournament and the individual with the highest turnover will be the first-place winner of the branch, who will automatically enter the Million Rand draws
(GOLDRUSH MILLIONS FINALS)
During the tournament the live broadcast will be showing the celebrity engaging with the participants and cheering them on.
A leader board will be created to inform participants of their progress
PHASE 3- GOLDRUSH MILLIONS FINALS
On the same night of the GOLDRUSH PLAYOFFS, will be the final draws which will take place from 21:30
The draws will be in the form of a live Spin the Wheel
There will be 37 sectors representing each Goldrush branch on the wheel.
The live stream will be broadcast live from one location to all 37 Goldrush Bingo branches across the country

Promotional Rules
- By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the competition.
- The promotion excludes any persons who directly or indirectly control or are controlled and employed by The Company, marketing service providers, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. These individuals will be identified as “Disqualified Participants”.
- Any individual who has been served with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of Disqualified Participants are expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion/competition.
- The promotion period is 1st August 2023 to 31st January 2024.
- Customer needs to be present at the draw to claim their prize.
- Machines that will be identified by management for the Payoff tournaments and clearly demarcated.
- In the unlikely event that we have 2 winners with the same turnover in the:
7.1 Qualifiers:
7.1.1) 1st Place- the 2 winners will represent 1st and 2nd place and the 2nd place winner will get the third golden ticket.
7.1.2) 2nd Place- the 2 second place winners will receive the 2nd and 3rd golden tickets.
7.1.3) 3rd Place- the 2 third place winners will both receive golden tickets making it a total of four golden tickets issued.
8 If a customer wins two Golden Tickets but from separate branches, then they can only play on one machine in their desired branch. They will not be able to use a Golden Ticket from another branch.
9 A customer can win a 3rd golden ticket through promotional activities within the group
10 If a branch experiences load shedding and the machines go off, a further portion of time will be added once power is restored (Subject to management discretion)
11 At closing time, the top 3 on the leaderboard, will receive Golden Tickets along with cash and/or freeplay prizes subject to management discretion.
12 If we have new winners in top 3 after the additional time of play, they will also receive Golden Tickets (Subject to management discretion)
13 In the event of a technical error or malfunction that affects the outcome, fairness, or integrity of the Tournament, Gold Rush reserves the right to take appropriate actions to address the situation and ensure a fair and accurate resolution.
14 Customers will receive an indemnity form upon receiving their Golden Ticket
PLAYOFF Tournament Rules
- During the PLAYOFF tournament, once a customer inserts their card into the EBT machine, the card must remain in the same machine until the tournament is concluded.
- All Golden Ticket winners will be required to sign an indemnity form, which will contain a simple agreement related to:
- All cash prize winnings to be paid via EFT- a portion can be paid via cash (subject to cash holding in the branch)
- Short interview by the show’s host will be conducted with winners of various prizes.
- No proxy for the Golden Ticket- only the winner of the Golden Ticket is allowed to participate in the PLAYOFFS on the last Saturday of the month.
- Proxy will only be granted, in the event that an official letter or email from the main member containing details and valid reason for not being able to attend the finals is communicated prior to the Playoff tournament.
- If a customer wins two Golden Tickets from the same branch, they will be topped up with the freeplay value, multiplied by the number of Golden Tickets on hand.
- EXAMPLE: if a customer wins 2 Golden Tickets, they will get R1000 x2 loaded on their tournament card. Or R500 x 2.
- The winner of the first Golden ticket of the month will choose their preferred tournament EBT and thereafter follow in that order based on the sequence/timing of winning Golden tickets. Should a customer have more than one golden ticket, they may choose all their Tournament machines based in the order of their first Golden ticket.
- In the unlikely event that we have 2 winners with the same turnover in the:
- 1st Place-
- The participants will go into a sudden death for a further 15 minutes and the loser then automatically takes the 2nd place spot.
- 2nd Place
- The two winners will both receive the prize money of second place and there will be no third place.
- 3rd Place-
- The players will both receive the prize money of Third Place
GENERAL RULES
- The customer must join our or be a Loyalty Programme Member to qualify for this Promotion and Draw.
- Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
- Draw times, dates and qualification criteria will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
- Prizes will not be transferable.
- The winners of the prizes indemnify the Company, its related entities, employees, and agents against any claims brought against it or any of their affiliates in the event of any injury or loss suffered because of participating in the competition.
- The Manager may choose to publish the names and photographs of the winners of the competition.
- All finalists/winners must be present at the time of the draw to claim their winnings on the day of the draws. No representative participating on behalf of the finalist will be accepted.
- All winners, by way of signature on a receipt will acknowledge receipt of their respective prizes.
- In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device utilised for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be utilised at the sole discretion of management.
- Any person who has been issues with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
- Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have knowledge and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
- Copies of these rules are available at the Welcome Desk upon request.
- The interpretation of these rules is at the sole discretion of Goldrush Management. In case of any disputes, the management’s decision is final, and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
- The above clauses are severable from each other, and should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such a clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain enforceable. All draws are to take place in clear view of Surveillance camera coverage and are to be verified by the General Manager or Duty Manager.
Goldrush MILLIONS PLAYOFFS MECHANICS
- On the last Saturday of the month Goldrush will host the GOLDRUSH PLAYOFFS which will take place from 20:30 until 21:00 (Subject to Management discretion)
- There will be last chance Tournament between 17:00 and 19:00 (Subject to Management discretion) for the last two Golden Tickets
- All golden ticket winners in the GOLDRUSH PLAYOFFS will receive free play credits, which can be used to participate in the final tournament. The amount of free play credited to each participant will be determined by Gold Rush based on pre-established criteria
- All participants will be able to top up their credits during the Playoff tournaments.

- Participants have two options for increasing their playing funds for the final tournament:
- Load Cash from Credit Card: Participants can choose to load cash onto their tournament player's card from their credit card before the promotion starts.
- Insert Bills During Play: Participants can insert bills into the gaming machine during their play in the final tournament to increase their playing funds.
- Once the tournament starts and a customer inserts their card into the machine, the card is to remain in the elected machine for the duration of the tournament.
- Golden ticket winners across the group may elect to play in an alternative branch (subject to the approval of the group)
- Customers will be issued free play to participate in the Playoff tournament.
- All winnings from free play on the tournament cards can be redeemed once the tournament is complete. (Free play will not be deducted for gaming taxes)
- The customer must go to the cash desk to transfer the winnings to their original membership loyalty card.
- The top three winners in every branch from the tournament will all receive a cash or free play prizes for being the top 3 winners in their respective branches.
- The participants will play in the tournament and the Unique Player ID / Card with the highest turnover will be the first-place winner of the branch, who will automatically enter the Million Rand draws (GOLDRUSH MILLIONS FINALS)
- During the tournament the live broadcast will be showing the celebrity engaging with the participants and cheering them on.

- Prize matrix for highest NATIONAL POINTS GENERATED:
- During the TWO-HOUR LAST CHANCE TOURNAMENT, Goldrush will track and tally the players who generate the highest points nationally and reward them as follows:
- 1st place = R100 000,00
- 2nd place = R50 000,00
- 3rd place = R25 000,00
- IF A CUSTOMER HAS ALREADY WON 2 GOLDEN TICKETS FROM PREVIOUS QUALIFIERS, THEN THEY WILL ONLY WIN THE CASH PRIZE FOR BEING IN THE TOP 3 HIGHEST POINTS GENERATED NATITONALLY.
- During the TWO-HOUR LAST CHANCE TOURNAMENT, Goldrush will track and tally the players who generate the highest points nationally and reward them as follows:
SATURDAY GOLDEN TICKET DRAWS (Optional)
- During the first 2 weeks of every month Goldrush will host two Golden Ticket Draws on the first two Saturdays of the month
- Winners of these draws will win a Golden Ticket each.
- To qualify, all loyalty members must:
- Play at a Goldrush branch and accumulate their points.
- For every 50 points generated customers will obtain an entry ticket
- The Tickets can be redeemed at the welcome desk.
- The customer will then drop their tickets into the draw box.
- On Saturdays (week 1 & 2) of every month, Goldrush will conduct 2 draws at
- 19:00- 1 winner will receive a Golden Ticket
- 21:00- 1 winner will receive a Golden Ticket
- The Golden Tickets will be used to participate in the Goldrush Millions Playoffs on the last Saturday of the month.
Can I really win R1-million in the Goldrush Millions promotion?
Yes, you can! During this promotion, Goldrush will award R1-million to one customer a month for six months from August 2023 to January 2024.
Is this the largest promotion in South Africa?
To our knowledge no other SA gaming company has given away R1-million a month for a period of six months in a promotion before.

Can anyone enter?
Yes. All you need to do is sign on as a Goldrush Loyalty Club Member at any branch and then enter the weekly Goldrush Millions Branch Qualifiers Tournament at either 4pm or 8pm every Friday. If you finish in the Top 3 in this tournament you win a Golden Ticket that qualifies you for the Branch Finals. If you win the Branch Finals you get into the Grand Finale Draw with 37 Branch Finalists, where you will compete for the whopping R1-million prize.
Do I have to pay to enter this tournament?
No entry is free. You however, have to initially play with your own money to generate points during the Branch Qualifying Tournaments.
When do the Branch Qualifier Tournaments take place and how long are they?
Branch Qualifiers take place every Friday. There will be two tournaments every Friday– the first between 2pm and 4pm and a second between 8pm and 10pm. Each tournament is 2 hours long giving you plenty of time to generate points.
How do I win the Branch Qualifiers?
The top three participants who generate the most number of loyalty points during each Branch Qualifying Tournament will win a Golden Ticket that allows them to play in the Branch Finals in their respective branches on the last Saturday of the month at 8pm.
How many Qualifiers will there be in the Branch Finals?
26 per branch – 6 per week as Branch Qualifiers PLUS two which are Golden Tickets which that will be won at a Branch Wildcard/Last Chance Tournament at 5pm on the last Saturday of the month.
How many Golden Tickets can I win?
Every Goldrush member can win a maximum of 2 Golden Tickets at a branch. If you enter the online tournament at goldrush.co.za you can win an additional ticket - allowing you a maximum of 3 tickets in the Branch Finals.
Can I use my Golden Ticket at any Branch during the Branch Finals?
No, you will have to use it at the branch where you won it. Unfortunately, no proxies will be allowed if you are unavailable for the Branch Finals.
Are there other prizes in the Branch Finals?
Yes. Branch Finalists will each get R2000 Freeplay as tournament collateral and the winners will receive the following in Freeplay: 1st – R15 000; 2nd R10 000 & 3rd – R5000. They also retain all their winnings from the Branch Finals.
How do I play Goldrush Millions online?
Online tournaments are scheduled on the first three Saturdays of the month at www.goldrush.co.za at 6pm. Two Golden Tickets will be presented per week to winners. These six finalists can then use their Golden Tickets at any Branch during the Branch Finals stage on last Saturday of the month at 8pm.
How do we play the Branch Finals?
Every Golden Ticket winner will compete in the Branch Finals. Each player will be given R2000 Freeplay before the Branch Finals on the last Saturday of the month at 8pm. You will then compete for one hour and the player who generates the most points goes through to the Million Rand Grand Finale.
When does the Million Rand Grand Finale take place?
The Grand Finale Spin-off will take place at 9.30pm on last Saturday of the month. Each Branch Winner will be given one slot on a 37-groove Wheel of Fortune. Our celebrity hosts will spin the wheel for 5 prizes in ascending order - 5th – R25 000; 4th – R50 000; 3rd – R75 000; 2nd – R100 000 & 1st – R1-million. Note a finalist can win more than one prize if they are lucky.
How will I know if I have won or not?
All branches will be linked via satellite and social media - so you will be able to see the final draw, hosted by a popular celebrity, live from every Goldrush branch.
